Which Amazon Affiliate Widget Converts Best? 4
I’m currently running experiments with different link sets and widget types for displaying products from Amazon’s catalog.
Currently the widget that converts to the most sales is using classic links placed within a well worded review with a nice picture of the product. Link them twice to the sales page in the text, and make the product image link to the sales page as well.
I’ve gotten a couple of conversions from the “My Favorites” A.K.A. the “I Recommend” widget, but I wish it was more customizable.
What’s your favorite Amazon widget? What works best for you?

I’ve tried all the widgets. None of them converted. You are exactly right. When I put a picture up and a link in the article I got clicks and then I stupidly removed them.
Now I get no conversions once again. I am testing my site scrabble cheat since it gets a lot of traffic.

Hmm. Scrabble cheats, what an interesting idea for a word unscrambler. Good luck with your website!
It’s odd how a search on google for “What are the best Amazon widgets to use”, nets only (1) result (daftseo) related to what I’m surching for.
Anyway, I’ve had limited success with Amazon widgets and aStore, but I haven’t spent a whole lot of time creating content rich recommendations either.
I’d still like to know what the best converting widget is.
For me, the best converting widget is the “My Favorites” … and you put commonly purchased products from your niche in there.
I don’t think I’m using most of the widgets to their potential, though.
