What Type of Blogger Are You? 3
Mar10
Winning the Web ran a really interesting mini series on their blog recently discussing the various types of bloggers and helping readers identify and associate with the category they fall into. It also explains how to build your blogging “characteristics” to establish yourself in your typeset more aggressively.
- The Expert Blogger (e.g. Aaron Wall of SEO Book)
- The Rambling Blogger (e.g. Maddox)
- The Journalist Blogger (e.g. Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Land)
- The Journeyman Blogger (e.g. TYPELiFE of Internet Marketing Strategy & SEO Techniques (shamless plug))
- The Celebrity Blogger (e.g. Jeremy Schoemaker of Shoemoney)
What sort of blogger are you?

I think in order to establish yourself as a good blogger you have to create a niche and in turn you will get a fan base or following. These are people who find what you write interesting and what more of it.
I guess at the moment I would consider myself a rambler since I tend to write about everything. But I am hoping to become a celebrity blogger, that is if I complete my mission of blogging myself to fame…only time will tell.
Great Post!
I think everyone wants to be considered a Celebrity or Expert blogger … that’s usually when you start bringing home the bacon from your online endeavors.
Thanks for the comments!
