Who Coined The Word Web 2.0

Let’s just set this in stone once and for all now and squash all the arguments surrounding the origins of the term Web 2.0, shall we?

Contrary to popular belief, the term “Web 2.0″, which is widely thought to have been originated in 2005 during a conference between O’Reilly and MediaLive International, in reference to the dot com crash and the resurgence of e-commerce and e-services thereafter, was actually coined three years earlier by a Dermot McCormack, titled Web 2.0: 2003-’08 AC (After Crash) The Resurgence of the Internet & E-Commerce.
