One Surefire Method to Increase RSS Subscriber Count! 6

Feb19

You just have to remember … “Constant Vigilance!”" Always remember to update your site, try to write a new blurb or article at least twice a week to keep things fresh.

Don’t you notice that after every post you make, your subscriber count jumps a little, but then it’s all downhill after that.

Sure you can submit your websites to RSS feed directories or services like FeedStub and RSS Submit … but the only way to earn readership and greater ranks in the search engines is to consistently have updated content for the masses.

P.S. To those who asked me from a couple posts ago, I bought a 2004 Toyota Corolla S Series (dark metallic blue) :) Cheers!

I agree. The upkeep and running of your blog is the best way to get earnest RSS subscribers. My numbers tend to go up and down, but only within 3-5 places.

I’ve never used the services that you speak of, as a matter of fact, I’ve never heard of them. I’ll have to check them out just to see what they’re about.

Good point. Some people think that the readers will just sign up and be loyal forever. It still takes a little work to keep them coming back.

First thing first Many congratulation for your Toyota, Great informative post, The directories you mentioned really help to win some RSS re4aders and can boost up your RSS counts, The next thing one should do after reading this post if to impliment what have been suggested in this informative post.

Updating your blog daily doesn’t necessarily boost your RSS count. Having a fan base and posting longer and more valuable content is the key.

I do share the view as you are. Updating our own site regularly is one of the most effective methods in attracting more readers, more subscribers and at the same time, it helps to improve of our site ranking as well. A win win solution : )

I have to say I have been finding that same spike and then dropoff recently.

I have only been blogging for around 6 months however have really only in the last month started trying to drum up repeat readers so to speak (and monitoring RSS subscribers etc).

I will have to keep that in mind, always keep a constant flow of new info coming in.

Oh ;) and how is the new car going?
