Finding Do Follow Blogs with Custom Search Engines 26
Finding “do follow” blogs is probably on everybody’s “most annoying menial task” list … but it is something that needs to be done.
On your daily hunt to find places to sneak backlinks (or legitimately fish for comments back to your blog) … don’t you get tired of using custom Google search queries to find blogs with decent PR and Alexa ratings related to your blog’s niche?
Well, look no further! Here are a few Do Follow Blog Search Engines that have been crafted from Google’s Custom Search feature. Some DoFollow Search Engines are better in my opinion because they have a feature to contact the owner’s to offer suggestions or even report blogs that appear in the search engine that do NOT follow the “DoFollow Blog” rules.

Remember, you shouldn’t spam links back to your blog, try to read the various blogs and comment on ones that interest you and really reflect your niche. These are the best backlinks.
I have a couple of blogs and my backlinks are important to monetize theme. I always get a couple of do-follow links from comments and it does make a difference. Another thing that helped my blogs out where do-follow comments on relevant .edu sites.
It’s always nice to be able to find related blogs on .edu sites, the link power behind some of these websites can get ridiculous! Do you have any .edu blogs you care to share with the readers of DaftSEO?

The problem with do-follow is people will spam. If a blog is good enough then the blog owner won’t need to have do-follow because people will comment to put their point of view accross, not to gain a back link.
The BBC is a perfect example of this. There are no links in the forums and blogs, yet they have many users.
However, when a blog is starting and it wants to get a upper hand, their is no harm in attracting people who want do-follow links, because some will become hooked, so even if you change to no-follow, people will still comment.
Do you mind including dofollow search engine at my blog in your list? I am adding 5-10 sites everyday (and removing a couple)
It’s not as large as others, but I am updating it frequently.

My experience with Comment Hunt was poor. It jsut seemed to keep returning the same blogs repeatedly after a few searches for keywords within the same theme. I’ll try the other ones to see how they compare.
Has anyone tried Fast Blog Finder? It is not free, but it seems like a decent tool that does the same thing.

Awesome links, everyone! I’ve got this page bookmarked now. It’s time to do some searching on topics that reflect my blog’s subject matter.
Most of those dofollow blogs and dofollow forums I have already worked on but there are a few that we can’t use. Backlinks are such a time consuming bore chore but a necessary fact of working and gaining visiblity on the web. The commentor’s over here helped me change the way i was actually seeing all these dofollow thing. I hate spammers too. I allow links to follow so I get a lot of spammers writing comments that are never allowed. Any idea why spammers seem to be hawking drugs, gambling and sex ??
I am personally awaiting the day some spammer hawks something genuinely useful and not strange or illegal. How about you?

Dofollow blogs owners sometime take many days to moderate comments. Instead posting on dofollow forums is a better option. Here’s a Webmaster & SEO Forum that has dofollow for all sig links. Good for generating backlinks and sharing link juice.

I comment regardless of “Do/No Follow.” I stop by a lot of blogs daily and if there is a post worthy of commenting, I do so. I think that it’ll all pan out in the end.

There’s a article out there that says that the “DoFollow” technique drops your blogs’ authority on search engines like Google. I disabled mine after reading it

Nice article i already know 2 of these but did`nt know about the rest.
I tend to stick to commenting on blogs in my niche that i like and dont really use these search engines much.
Also it does`nt really bither me if its Do Follow or not as you will probably get 20-30 other comments on the same posts so the benefit is very little.
The problem with sites dedicated to sniffing out do follow articles is that Google knows of them too.
You can always try looking for the do follow plugins by name too, like commentluv, but expect the same deal from Google.
It’s almost as though comments carry neutral links on anything but a PR 6 blog or higher.
