RSS Feeds, Newsletters of the Future!

Seriously, why does anyone offer a newsletter on their website anymore? Or even worse, why is your whole website created around the newsletter!? Shouldn’t you be trying to sell a product or a service, or be providing some sort of value?

When I see people offer subscriptions to both RSS Feeds and a separate newsletter, I want to cry!

RSS Feeds are the new Newsletter!

People opt in, get their updates via e-mail when you choose. RSS Feed = Newsletter.

It’s much easier to manage, and you can still provide all the juicy information, incentives, and whatever whatnot you choose to provide to your subscribers.

Subscribe to the DaftSEO “Newsletter” ;)

  • Building Backlinks - Blog In Space

Blog In Space is a unique website that offers to transmit your RSS feed into the depths of space with a powerful satellite. Your RSS feed will be echoing through the kosmos long after your website is gone (or will you become the professional blogger you always aspired to be?) … providing extraterrestrial life forms with your knowledge and insights.

Blog In Space also offers a directory of all transmitted blogs, all blogs currently being transmitted, and blogs in queue to be transmitted on a listing page within their website, providing a neat little backlink to your website and feed.

Make sure you don’t have any alien-objectionable content before you start transmitting your feed into space!

  • You just have to remember … “Constant Vigilance!”" Always remember to update your site, try to write a new blurb or article at least twice a week to keep things fresh.

Don’t you notice that after every post you make, your subscriber count jumps a little, but then it’s all downhill after that.

Sure you can submit your websites to RSS feed directories or services like FeedStub and RSS Submit … but the only way to earn readership and greater ranks in the search engines is to consistently have updated content for the masses.

P.S. To those who asked me from a couple posts ago, I bought a 2004 Toyota Corolla S Series (dark metallic blue) :) Cheers!

  • In relation to my recent post about FeedStub, my recently created automated RSS feed directory submitter, I’ve started compiling a bigger list of RSS feed directories that only require you to enter a URL by itself and you are able to submit your feed for review or addition, without entering a category, e-mail address, or captcha. I’ve sorted them into ascending order for you.

Enjoy, and expect to see more of these coming to FeedStub soon!

FeedStub - RSS Feed Directory Submitter

I’m currently developing a semi-automated RSS Feed Directory submitter, similar to the RSS Submit program that I posted about previously.

My RSS Feed Directory automation tool is web based, and so will be easily updated for new directories (as well as dead directories) and functions. This also means you don’t need to download any updates, it’s all done on this end.

Best of all it is 100% free and available to the public! So mosey on down and check out FeedStub now!

Please leave a comment and any feedback, bug reports, and suggestions you have here!

If you like FeedStub, subscribe to our RSS feed to be updated the moment something happens!

RSS Submit is an awesome tool that lets you manage submissions to tons of various RSS Feed Directories. It automates the submissions to many of the feed directories, but also offers many other directories you are able to submit to semi-automatically.

Use RSS Submit to your advantage if you regularly publish your RSS feeds, these directories will provide quick indexing to your websites, and hopefully a couple subscribers.

    Download RSS Submit 2.36.
