FeedStub – RSS Feed Directory Submitter

Dec13

I’m currently developing a semi-automated RSS Feed Directory submitter, similar to the RSS Submit program that I posted about previously.

My RSS Feed Directory automation tool is web based, and so will be easily updated for new directories (as well as dead directories) and functions. This also means you don’t need to download any updates, it’s all done on this end.

Best of all it is 100% free and available to the public! So mosey on down and check out FeedStub now!

Please leave a comment and any feedback, bug reports, and suggestions you have here!

If you like FeedStub, subscribe to our RSS feed to be updated the moment something happens!

Unique New Promotion Method via Avatars

Nov26

A couple of days ago I stumbled upon a new type of social link-sharing website, Sivatar. I guess in its worst context it could be described as a “link farm” … but to me it seems like a unique new way to share your link with the rest of the internet.

Sivatar is a link sharing community, where you can upload a 50 x 50 avatar to represent your presence online. You can anchor your avatar image to link to whatever website you wish, along with a short description of said website.

You are only allowed to upload one Sivatar per website, but you are allowed to link to as many different websites as you want with separate Sivatars.

There’s no real relevance behind the link, but it’s a real neat idea (and a free nofollow backlink), and I hope the concept gets expanded upon alot.

5 Ways to Bolster Your Alexa Ranking

Oct24

There’s no surefire way to instantly command internet users to navigate to your website to boost your Alexa count, but there are a few methods to help you steadily raise your ranking.

1. First off, make sure you are doing your own part. Install the Alexa toolbar on your browser of choice so your own visits count towards your total!

2. What do you think comes next? Yessir, now we try to have the users do their part. Devote a small portion of your website (on a separate page, or the homepage) where you can ask your users to install the Alexa toolbar themselves.

3. When submitting to directories, check and see approximately how many Alexa users browse that directory. A higher count there means a higher Alexa count for you!

4. Use Alexa itself to create redirect links for your website. ( eg: http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?typelife.blogspot.com )

5. Make sure to link from your website to your Alexa statistics page. Like this.
