It's really wonderful to use Blogger sometimes, for the sheer fact that it is free and so easy to set up a new blog. If I think I have a winnder idea for a new blog/site, I'll make it on blogger, if I start to see some traffic or value immediately, I'll go ahead and purchase a domain and move it over to Wordpress.

Blogger is basically my staging area for new projects.

Yes, Blogger is a good, sturdy platform, ideal if you're starting out or have several blogs.

Wordpress is very advanced. However, Blogger is still pretty good. There are quite a few Blogger blogs that I see now that look as sleek and professional as Wordpress ones. So I think Blogger has made an effort in that regard.

I have a Blogger blog. It meets my needs at the moment. One day I might want to move it all over to Wordpress. But I can deal with that challenge when the time comes.

I think Wordpress is one of the best. Its so easy to install and use. I do have a blogspot and but I feel a lot more comfy with Wordpress. Though I wish they had more features the way Joomla has. I think Joomla is more SEO friendly ( correct me if I am wrong )

If you can't spend any money, go with Blogspot.

If you can handle paying for basic hosting definitely go with Wordpress.

It is extremely easy to optimize with just a few plugins and the search engines (especially google) absolutely love Wordpress.

The plugins I first install are: All in One SEO Pack, Google XML Sitemaps, and Permalink Redirect

Another thing you need to do as soon as you install Wordpress is change the default permalink structure.

I started my blog with a mission. Part of that mission was starting from scratch and with a 0 budget. For any other blog I'd use Wordpress in a heart beat. I've also had the chance to blog on other platforms. Wordpress is the coolest - provided that you get your own domain of course..
