I personally don't want to see TNR unless I'm reading some student's essay they have to turn in on Friday. It just reminds me of school, and the default font of AOL Instant Messenger.

And that's true, tiny fonts can be a pain, but any font can be a pain when it's tiny enough.

I just have to ask: What's wrong with Times New Roman? It's much better than a fancy, unreadable font. My personal "don't-like" font is Verdana since it is small and pretty much unreadable if you have light text on a dark background. Maybe my eyes are just getting old, though...

Blogs that only run contests really will not have a following because you have to publish your contest as an advert to drive interest. It's more like a touch and go concept with no real fans.

Heheh. I experienced a spike on my RSS feed today and I think Feedburner is at it again or maybe my new design made my visitors subscribe

A simple but good post..

Talk the talk but don't walk the walk was a perfect reason. Bloggers should be on point and stay on point.

And font? I don't care much about the font actually. Images included in the post makes it more merrier!

LOL, just go ahead and pull the cover off of a lot of blogs. Funny, and very true.

I think the biggest violation of those attempting to have a great blog is design. One of the things I really like about Entrecard is all of the blogs that I get to see daily. A lot of them have very unique, hot designs, very impressive.

On the other hand, someone will have a fantastic card, and when you go to their blog you cannot believe it! It looks like they just picked a theme, added any widget that they thought was "cute" and started the data input.

In defense of some, it's difficult for some people to detail their blogs because they don't get that whole relationship of how each and everything on your blog affects it.
